Lucknow: Himanshu Pal and Nancy Verma achieved double success at the annual sports festival Kshitij organized by Shri Sharda Group of Institutions in Lucknow. Both won the 100-meter and 200-meter races in their respective categories.
In the boys’ 100-meter race, Raunak Kumar was the runner-up, while Mahi finished second in the girls’ race. The event, which saw enthusiastic participation from students of various schools, included games like Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, volleyball, and races. Uttar Pradesh RTI Commissioner Virendra Pratap Singh, Special Secretary Mahendra Bharti, and the institute’s Vice Chairman Nirmesh Singh were present as guests.
Other winners included Kalpana (1st in 400-meter girls), Atul Yadav (1st in 400-meter boys), and Akash Saroj (1st in chess). Additional competitions saw victories in carrom, solo dance, and thought competitions. The winners were honored by the chief and special guests for their impressive performances.
